YAKITORI Yellowtail

The plump yellowtail is just like a chicken!

Ingredients

Serves 2
  • 200g yellowtail fillet, cut into equal 8 pieces
  • 1 Japanese leek, cut into equal 8 pieces
  • 2 tbs flour
  • 1 tbs vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tbs soy sauce
  • 3 tbs mirin
  • shichimi togarashi (Japanese seven spice blend)

Way of making

  1. step1.

    Thread two pieces of the yellowtail, leek onto each skewer, and rub with the flour.

  2. step2.

    Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the oil. Put skewers in the pan and cook until brown.

  3. step3.

    Add the soy sauce and mirin to the pan and toss to coat all over.

  4. step4.

    Serve them with the shichimi togarashi as you like.
