Yellowtail Cutlet

Fish Tonkatsu with a hint of exotic cardamon flavor

Ingredients

Serves 2
  • 200g Yellowtail fillet, skin off, cut into 2 equal pieces
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cardamon powder
  • 2 tbs flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1-2 tbs water
  • 1 cup Panko (bread crumb)
  • shredded cabbage, frying oil, cardamon salt*
  • *Blend equal amount of salt and cardamon powder

Way of making

  1. step1.

    Mix the flour, egg, and water to make batter.

  2. step2.

    Rub the fillets with the salt and cardamon powder, soak them in the batter, and coat it with the panko.

  3. step3.

    Heat the frying oil to 170℃, add the fillets and deep-fry until golden brown.

  4. step4.

    Cut the fried fish into bite size and serve with the cabbage and cardamon salt.
