Chinese-style Yellowtail Sashimi

Crispy, crunchy, fresh and healthy appetizer

Ingredients

Serves 2
  • 120g sashimi grade yellowtail, skin off, thinly sliced
  • 20g daikon radish, julienned
  • 20g carrot, julienned
  • 20g cucumber, julienned
  • 4 wonton wrappers, cut into strips
  • 15g peanut, crushed
  • 2 sprigs cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbs water
  • 2tbs oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tbs soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbs toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbs vinegar
  • frying oil, lemon wedges

Way of making

  1. step1.

    Mix the water, oyster sauce, soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, sugar and vinegar well to make sauce. Soak the radish, carrot, and cucumber in water and drain.

  2. step2.

    Heat the frying oil to 180℃, add the wanton wrapper strips and deep-fry until golden brown.

  3. step3.

    Arrange the yellowtail, vegetables, deep-fried wanton wraps, peanut, cilantro leaves and lemon wedges. Serve with the sauce.
